Karel Kočí, MD, PhD has 35 years of medical experience. A number of years he worked at Ist clinic of urology Charles University and taught at the division of urology of the Institute for postgraduate education in medicine. He passed the specialization exams of 1st and 2nd degree and several abroad resident stays.

In last 25 years Dr. Kočí turned to andrology, which is the young medical branch, dealing with the diseases of male genitals (Greek andros = man). He published more than 80 scientific articles, the monograph on ultrasonography and the popular science book on andrology, held lectures on many meetings and congresses in CR and abroad.

Dr. Kočí worked up and installed in clinical practice a series of diagnostic and therapeutic methods. He is a member of Czech urological society (CUS), a member of European society for human reproduction and embryology (ESHRE), a member of International society of andrology (ISA), a constituent member of andrological branch of CUS, a constituent member of Czech society for sexual medicine (CSSM) and a member of European Association of Urology (EAU).

In his special private practise he is engaged in the diagnostics and treatment of male infertility, erectile dysfunctions, ejaculation and hormonal disturbancies, inborn developmental defects, inflammations, injuries and other pathological involvements of male genitals, including state-of-the-art surgical procedures.
